Ahobilam → Mahanandeeshwaram → Srisailam Not easy, but honestly… worth it Getting There We reached Ahobilam around 4 AM and went straight to the ISKCON temple where we were staying. It’s pretty new (about a year old), very clean, and actually a really good place to freshen up after a long drive. We didn’t rest much. By 6:30 AM , we were ready to go. That’s when our guide Charan met us. He’s just 17, but honestly one of the best parts of the trip. Super responsible, spoke good English, and made sure we stayed on track the entire time. He was with us both days and kept everything running smoothly. Before starting, we stopped at a small mom-and-pop place for breakfast and coffee. Nothing fancy—but exactly what you need before a long trek. And then… we started. Why Ahobilam Feels Different Ahobilam isn’t just one temple—it’s a journey through nine forms of Lord Narasimha . Each temple feels different. People also say they connect to the nine planets , but honestly, what you feel ...

I don’t travel to collect places. I travel to understand them — what they stood for, what they still protect, and what they quietly ask of you when you arrive. This journey through Bangalore → Mysore → Ooty → Wayanad → Coorg → back to Mumbai reminded me of something simple but powerful: India doesn’t need to be discovered. It simply needs to be uncovered. I was born in Mumbai. Despite its crowds and chaos, I have always felt safe there. From rickshaw drivers who return extra change, to waiters who take pride in doing the right thing even on exhausting days — most people are simply trying to live honestly. That same honesty stayed with me throughout this trip. India is naturally beautiful. Some places are overhyped, but many others quietly wait to be noticed. This trip reminded me that beauty here doesn’t perform — it reveals itself slowly. Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore Vidhana Soudha is one of Bangalore’s most iconic landmarks and one of the largest legislative buildings in I...

Work had brought me to Hyderabad , but before my Monday workshop in Chennai, I found myself with a free weekend. I decided to spend it in Kanchipuram and Chennai , both cities rich in history, temples, and personal memories. The weekend began in Kanchipuram on Saturday morning. I first stopped at my parents’ home , spent some time with them, and shared lunch — a grounding way to start the trip. Later, I met my friends and together we visited a few of the city’s most iconic temples. 🌸 Kamakshi Amman Temple History & Significance : One of the most revered Shakti Peethas , the temple is dedicated to Goddess Kamakshi, worshipped as the embodiment of love, grace, and divine strength. Architecture : Built in classic Dravidian style , the temple is known for its golden gopuram, intricate carvings, and the powerful sanctum housing the Goddess. My Reflection : For me, this temple feels deeply personal — every darshan here is a reminder of devotion and the blessings that gui...

This journey began in Hyderabad , where work brought me first. On our last day there, we slipped into vacation mode and visited the palace — its architecture a reminder of the grandeur of the Nizams. We also walked around the bustling Charminar area, weaving through shops and colors, picking up little treasures before the night closed in. As if the city wanted to send us off with a touch of cinema, I even had the chance to meet Ramya Krishnan , the actress who played Rajamata Sivagami in Baahubali . To see her in person, after watching her command the screen, was surreal. Falaknuma Charminar From Hyderabad, we flew to Mumbai — the city where I was born and raised. Coming home always awakens old cravings, and within hours I was indulging in the street food that never loses its magic — vada pav, pav bhaji, ragda patties. Each bite brought back memories of growing up here, and I realized once again that no matter where life takes me, Mumbai’s flavors will always feel like home. T...
